Ok guys i'm holding off for a deal on a tvs but placing an order for a Meth kit along with some other things and just wondering if it would be alright to run a2.6 n what kind of nozzle would be sufficient?

Unless you are on a ported head I wouldn't go lower than a 2.7" IMO. I run a 14gph nozzle

My belt was tight with the 2.8 but do you think I should grab a stage 2 belt and some 2 step colder plugs also some 80#ers? Jw

With my set up I run the oversized tensioner and stage 2 belt so I know for sure I have zero slip. If you are spraying meth you won't need 80s. I would recommend atleast a 10gph nozzle.

Lol ya my motor popped a week before hitting the rollers. The one and only time I went to the track I ran a 12.8@111. I figure in the 330whp area. My buddy uses a road dyno for his legacy and with my M62 it was 2whp off of what i made on an actual dyno. With my tvs the road dyno said 341whp. For the gains vs the extra stress it puts on the motor without a ported head it isn't worth it IMO.

And I'd just stick with the 2.7.

*jumping in... So with correct cooling mods and a ported head, you can "safely" run a very small pulley such as the 2.6?

People have run smaller than that. Unless you are going all out trying to squeeze every hp you can its not really worth the gains.

cooling mods do nothing more then aid in recovery time a ported head will drop the restriction some but your combustion pressure will remanin close to the same or go up that is where having a good tuner will make the difference if you want below abmiant iat2 temps spray it

spray it^^^^`
if u have a good tuner
run a wet 50 shot and u will notice a totaly different beast...
get a window switch so u don't have to worrie about a button...
and if ur tuner is any good he can make ur car run well...
nos and e85 is a world of difference...
