2.7 on CA Stage 3??

Stage #3 : 2.7 ZZP Interchangeable Pulley system , 1 step colder ngk IRIDIUM spark plugs , GM shortened belt , 42# Lucas Injectors , Injector Wiring Harness, Stage #3 Retune ... Est. 65 Hp over stock - 18 psi boost

The smallest pulley I've head of being used with GM stage 2 is a 2.8X.. With stage 2 and colder plugs whats the smallest pulley you can use? 2.7 is too small isn't it?

yes its to small. your going to push the 42s over the max. you gotta run bigger injectors. doesnt matter what your spark plugs are when your about to make your injectors go static

welcome to the site. what part of virgina are you from??

A little below Lynchburg. Yeah I figured 2.7 was way too small. I'm sorta new to upgrading the SS ..Traded in my 01 GT in for it two weeks ago. 07 Victory Red, color inserts, chrome with 11k.

A 2.8 should be fine with stage 2 right? What kind of power should stage 2 + 2.8 and a CAI make? As far as aftermarket stages what would be the best one to go with and just go ahead and start with a smaller pulley and 60's ..not factong in cooling mods and what not because that would be done first if I go that route.

IMO I would piece together your own kit...get hptuners and find someone that knows what there doing when it comes to hp and have them tune you..
