This 2.79" pulley will fit the GM Stage 2 hub - It is made out of 6061 Billet Aluminum and Hard Anodized for wear resistance - There is 77.9 MM engraved on the face making it look like the stock 3" GM Pulley - It is CNC machine to 0.001" accuracy and designed to withstand high RPM - The side walls of the pulley are 77.9MM or 3” in diameter - The top of the groove has a diameter of 2.79” . These have been proven to run great on the GM stage 2 reflash as it is very rich fuel wise to start with and this will bring you right into the correct AFR . Will bump you up to 17.5psi !!!!!
I'm getting stage 2 installed next Fri and just going ahead and getting the 2.9 on. I have heard alot of people claim 2.9 is as small as you want to go but how can companys back claims like this if it's such a bad idea without a million blown engines/problems on hand?

I don't plan to. I'm going to get a 2.9 even though I've seen many people run a 2.8 with no problems and a 2.8 isn't that big of a change over a 2.79. I would consider a 2.85 instead though....I live in VA if elevation is important..would a 2.85 be over pushing it? How much does a 2.9 push anyways.. 15-16lbs?
if you plain on getting stage 2 dont drop pulley sizes, leave it alone. But if you want to fool around with different pulley sizes just get 60s and save yourself some money, time, and agrivation.
