2.8 pulley question!!

I'm about to order my final parts For the install and I have a question about if I need the oversized pulley tensioner and the stage 2 belt... Or just pick one or the other? Thanks for any advice

If you lack the Ability to search a forum, google, or the internet in general I would bet you lack the ability to modify your car.

Subbed for the next stupid question.

Ps. Punch this op in the face.

If you get the oversized pulley you have to grind some of the tensioner so it fits. Belt is probably easier but I've heard the belts dont last. 6 in one half a dozen in the other

Mr B is right tho. and I know where hes coming from. new ppl ask the same questions everyday. ive been guilty of it too. if you need to know something use google to search this site. itll save you alot of trouble. Mr B may come off as a dick, but hes a very smart guy with these cars. hes just tired of seeing the same ****. Now we love our new members, but it helps alot when you actually search for stuff. we help those who help themselves. remember that and welcome.

The larger pulley has less parasitic drag than a short belt that makes all of those tight turns and generating heat but the larger pulley and belt has more gyroscopic effect on the front end effecting handling. So you gotta ask do you want to shave a few seconds off at the strip or pull a few more g's in the turns? A car with each is the way to go.
