2 questions please

1. how much difference is there with a 3 in catless downpipe with a 2.5 exit vs a 2.5 catted downpipe horsepower wise. i ask because i have the 3 inch one on now and the flex section is leaking.

2. i am wanting to get tuned soon. but i am also wanting to get the 2.5 magnaflow cat back. if i get tuned before i get the cat back how much will it mess up my tune? would it be better to just wait on the tune?

i'd imagine half and inch wouldnt be more than 3-5hp. you MIGHT notice a loss in acceleration, but thats doubtful

the 3in is pretty big if your not putting out alot of power. but at about 280whp your gonna need the 3in

these cars need a tune if you look at the filter wrong, id sugest you tune for anything you do

It won't really matter one way or the other. If you have a 2.5" catback you can stick with the 2.5" DP or go with the 3" DP with 2.5" exit. Either way won't make much of a difference.

Id say you'll be ok John. You can do a 3inch dp with an 2.5 catback

If the flex section is leaking you will have to replace it. I doubt the sealant will do any good, and if it does it won't last long.
