2009 ss/tc bov
just got a 2009 cobalt ss t/c and the first thing i wanna do is get my intake and bov. I have no idea where to find the bov or what brand to get my intake. ive seen a couple of videos with cobalts having hks bov and they sound great. any suggestions?
intakes theres AEM, Dejon, Hahn, Injen, and soon CIA. I believe thats all.
Charge piping to weld a BOV too, theres Hahn, Dejon, CIA, and OTTP. I think Injen is also producing a charge piping too.
a full set of charge piping costs at least $225. with blow off valve your talking $500 after flange and $200 BOV and hopefully T-bolt clamps if your smart. And you can go with whatever BOV you want, i went greddy. if you wanna see a picture check the link in the bottom of my sig

^no, just can tap into the vacuum line off the stock BPV and then you would have 2 BOV's pretty much. Still works great if you have the upgraded spring in your stock one. THen you just set the spring setting on your BOV to softest and most of the air will escape through your BOV anyways making your BOV real loud. plus with 2 BOV's with different spring rates they will open up at different times under low boost making it sound like you have some surge but it sounds pretty sick and it doesnt hurt anything lol. i did some experimenting
