21psi?

like the title says...was on the highway comin from a club and a acura type s comes up to me and wants to go at it..i was cruising at 65mph and he starts honkin,so i downshift to 3rd and go...all the way up to 140mph...well as soon as i passed 100mph i looked at me boost gauge and i was at 20psi and climbing....i do have a check engine light for running lean...i also do have nates 2.9 pulley, but somethings tellin me that its not a 2.9 it might be smaller, also it is cleary engraved 2.9 on the pulley it self...anyone got any suggestions...i do un-plug the battery and the light goes off,but comes back on...weather was about 45 degrees..any help?i knw im prolly maxing out the injectors,or maybe clogged cat?

Mods:GM s2,nates 2.9"

My guess is that your cat is beginning to clog, and you need to change it out or get rid of it fast before bad stuff happens.

100% its a clogged cat! Same thing happened to my buddies car...it would creep all the way to 20psi and he only had stage 2. apparently stage 2 tunes are super rich. if you just gut your cat out it will be fine. just take the down pipe off and turn it upside down and all kinds of **** will fall out of it. Or just get a catless downpipe.

You WILL throw a CEL if you take off your cat.

just find someone with a HPT, and turn code 440 (and there might be one more) to "Do Not Respond" or whatever it is
