there is a way to do it. the gm sport compact build book tells you to cut the oil filter housing off the block with a saws-all, weld -10an fittings to the feed and reurn holes for, and use an off the shelf filter relocation kit. basicly doing it that way you would run it to the filter then to the oil cooler, back to the motor.

Yes I know,but the intake charge and the engine oil are cooled by the same coolant and heat exchanger.So not only does it have to cool the intake charge via the laminova,but also the engine oil via the factory oil cooler.

No no no the intercooler coolant is completely seperate from the oil. The intercooler which is locater in ur intake manifold, has antifreeze that is store in ur heat exchanger pumped into it via the pump located under ur intake manifold then it travels up to ur overflow that is mounted on ur SC, then back to ur heat exchanger, never coming in contact with ur engine oil in any way.
