What's happening to the car?
Can't help if all we know is, "I might have to change my MAF sensor and I think it's my intake"
That's better.
What kind of intake do you have?
Swap to a new intake and get a hydro shield....

What filter? I had a similar problem only when it rained. The car would buck hard in 2nd/3rd under load but would drive perfect without excessive load.
I found my AEM dry flow was SOAKED thus choking the motor.

Also, if he has the AEM intake it's only about 8 inches of piping and the MAF is located farther down closer to the filter than other intakes. More prone to getting water on em.
Go out and buy the K&N typhoon intake. Yes it's expensive but worth every penny. It's an oiled filter which repels water. Also, the location of the MAF sensor is good too. Up after the 45* bend. Also comes with a hydroshield.
i think it is an AEM bc everything you just said is true (on the car when i bought it) and mine does the same thing when it rains, bucks like a ******* bull when you get on it but if you ease into it everything is fine
just went on K&Ns website and it doesnt say anything about a hydroshield and the pic shows the MAF in the same place it is now... where did you go to order it???
