Intense recommends no lower then 3.10 inches. I trust their judgement... I was going to get a 3.0" pulley too but didn't know if it would do harm without new injectors...

and ya man turn the caps off next time.

Yes you can use a 3" Pulley. Its the max you can use without running bigger injectors, 1 step colder plugs would be a good add on to the 3" pulley.
Watch for my new Front page "Full Review/How to install" on the 3" ZZP pulley coming soon...

BTW: Easy on the CAPS there....

Yes you would need a MAF-T.

So, 3" Pulley, NGK 1 step colder plugs and a MAF-T. That should do it.

You don't need a MAF-t. With a 3" pulley you are going to max your stock injectors. All a MAF-t does is trick the computer about airflow causing the computer to increase injector pulse width. The problem is the computer cannot increase the pulsewidth above the stock injectors capabilities. So the computer may tell the injectors to flow at 140% but they are still flowing at 100%. But hey if you really want a MAF-t let me know, 100 bucks shipped like new!!!

Go with the MAF-T bro. Unless you want a check engine light and or other issues associated with a stock calibration on a modified car.

I ran the 3.00 on a stock setup with just the airbox thing (no box, big ass k&n), no maf-t no cel, just get the newest gm reflash before you do it, takes care of airflow cel's.

You aren't changing the stock calibration. It is still the same. when you get to a 3" pulley, a MAF-t isn't necessary unless you have bigger injectors.

Guys all i'm saying is you either get a reflash or a MAF-T. You have to have one or the other or you will get a CEL. We get CELs from just an intake. Please take my advice i'm not making this up. I don't want to war with you guys over this.

How can you say there won't be a CEL with a 3" pulley and no reflash or no MAF-T when we get CELs from just an intake?

How does the 3" feel compared to the stock pulley?

No war bro, everybody has their own theory on the CEL. Me, I really believe that the CEL is caused by one of these 2 reasons:

1) Aftermarket Intake pipe that disturbs the air flow too much because of the new MAF sensor location
2) Oil from the filter gumming up the MAF sensor

So I dont think that for a 3" pulley, that you would require a MAF-T or reflash. For a 2.9" pulley and less bigger injectors, yes absolutly. I know of 1 more guy here running a 3" only and the car runs perfect

I'm running a 3" pulley and an intake. I am also using the stock plugs, runs fine, no CEL's.

Aside from the sound the intake increases, the 3" pulley was the best mod I have done so far. It wakes the car up a bit.

Personally, i wouldnt do things half-assed so-to-speak. Sounds like you need to get yourself GM Stage 1 or 2. You'll keep your warranty and not have to worry about messing with a MAF-T.
