3'' zzp pulley installed

I just finish installing my 3'' zzp pulley, it took me 4 hours to install. I also order the zzp pulley puller, and it in my opinion is the best I have ever used.

I took the car for a test drive and it pulls like a "mother", Im seeing 15psi without the boost-by-pass mod, and the car whines like crazy. I look forward to taking it to the track and having a few street encounters.
Well just wanted to let everyone know I have joined the pulley club and are pleased with the results and the helpful information this site has to offer.

Looks like you have been following my front page reviews!! Awesome
You have the same mods I have so far.

I already installed my Interceptor gauge, so now am ready to datalog and bring in some very valuable readings for tuning purposes.

This week, am going:

-2.6 Inch ZZP pulley
- 42# Injectors
- ZZP adjustable tensioner
- 1 step colder plugs
- MAFT
- Dyno to REDLINE and also SSC lowering springs!!

In 1 month its going to be a custom HPtuners tune and a 3" JBP Vortex exhaust!!

Just out of curiosity, what isn't safe? I thought ideal was 14.7. Educate me.

You think a 3" pulls like a mother? Try a 2.5" lol Congrats though. Once you swap one pulley, you'll keep wanting to go smaller.

You should be. If you are worried, you can also log the car and see what the cycle duty is on the 42#.

Oh yes I know, now I want stage1 w/2.7'' pulley.
You all think it is safe to run a 2.6'' pulley with a stage1 kit?

Can you run a 3" pulley with the stock injectors and PCM program. I plan on ordering the Intense Racing pulley today and the ZZP puller. I called my local (50 miles away) Gm performance dealer and the stage one is backordered and I want to change the pulley.

I installed my 3" ZZP last night. Thanks to the review and how to it took me all of 2 hours to get it done. The car pulls alot harder now. I need to find a shop in NJ with HP tuners so when I get the 42 lb injectors I can have it tuned.

Am going to get the car Dyno and tuned at "NEW ERA PERFORMANCE" in Rochester, New York.

Cant wait, Mike the owner NEP has a Cobalt SS/SC himself and has over 80 runs on the dyno and has been using HPtuners for years now.
So I trust Mike will be able to tune my car to perfection.
