60lbers with 2.7

I'm going to be getting some 60lbers with 2.7" pulley, also adding a meth kit. besides another tune for the injectors/meth, what other supporting mods would i need? Look in signature for current mods. thanks for your help.

2005 Cobalt SS/SC

ps. i have 1 step colder plugs

im gonna get new spark plugs, stage 2 belt, bigger intercooler/heat exchanger(same thing), wideband gauge, oh a hub for the smaller pulley unless u got a different hub for the 3.0 pulley

since u gonna run meth thats a great cooling mod

the stock axles will be fine unless you beat on them at the track. i'm on a 2.7/60 lb injectors without meth. i run a front mount heat exchanger for cooling and a 70% water/30% coolant in the intercooler system. enough to stave of freezing the water, but more water for better heat dissipation. on a hard WOT run from a stop to 4th gear my IAT2 temps dont top 130F. obviously the more cooling the better, so load up on cooling mods. highly recommend the heat exchanger, the meth is a big help, and dual pass endplate should find its way on your list. also a light porting of the supercharger could help keep temps down by increasing the efficiency of the supercharger.

2.7, 60lbers, ngk bkr7e spark plugs, stage 2 belt, the meth kit I told you about *working on exact price* and you will be set.

You eventually can grab a dual pass with overflow or option b tank and or a front mount, but the meth is the first step.

After that in all honesty I would work on suspension mods.

If you are wanting to put down some REAL numbers, he actually has a point. Porting the head would be a great idea, I have a spare head that sean can port for you/us too . Between the three of us, mainly you and sean we could knock out the swap in a day.

if you port the head its done once and thats it, not like meth where you have to check and maintain proper fluid

Well i'm all set, i have the injectors/harness, 2.7" pulley, meth kit, ZZP S3 heat exchanger, dual pass. Got an option b tank but traded it for the spacer i needed so the meth can inject itself..also bought a wideband for a more accurate tune. hopefully going to get everything installed this weekend, going to start on wideband and meth kit friday morning, should have it mostly set up, getting dual pass saturday, might not install til sunday, saturday going to put in the injectors and pulley, also get a tune... so hopefully by monday i should be good to go.. did i forget anything?
