about ss/sc resonator
Not sure why you would want to cut out the resonator. More noise is the only reason I can think of. It is not much of a flow restriction if at all. Plus, it is tuned to cancel all the "annoying" frequencies from the exhaust tone. To me, it is a pointless mod - but to each their own
If in cabin drone is your thing then cut away. It really doesn't restrict flow rather like pull police said its to tune out unwanted frequencies.
Your exhaust may sound marginally different but at certain RPM's it'll get extremely aggravating in cabin.
I like to use glasspacks as resonators but I like exhaust that is quiet a cruising speed, to each his own.

The stock resonator quiets down the exhaust and makes it sounds nice instead of rice! It also works great on my Integra since that is where mine now resides since I got my Corsa for the Cobalt!
If ANYTHING... you take out your Cat and ADD ANOTHER resonator... like I'll probably be doing. Without the Resonator, your exhaust gets REALLY raspy... as mine is now with my Catless ZZP dp.
