AC heat exchanger for intercooler???
ok, i'm just gonna skip reading thro the bull **** and get back to the point.
yea you could use an AC condencer if you wanted...but why not do the smart thing and skip that POS-improperly mounted CA or cobra unit and just get an 2nd stock pice?(i did and so did many of the 300hp guys)
the stock HE has a larger over all serface area then the cobra style units and when you mount it properly(agenst the cooling stack) and let the fans do there job you end up with an HE thats more efficent, and looks a bit more stock.
if your hell bent on looseing your AC then your idea would kinda work...i think the biger PR across the AC condencer would only cause flow issues.

I just checked it and it does engage with defrost on. And if you ever wanted to go back to using the a/c again after this I would recommend a new condenser as antifreeze leaves a residue and it would be hard to get it all out. You don't want foreign junk in your a/c system. That's why whenever you open up a part of it you need to vacuum it before you add r134a back into it. It gets the moisture out.
