adjustment for bypass valve actuator?

adjustment for bypass valve actuator?

i notice out the bolt hole are ovular. is this an adjust ment for how much boost it allows or does it not matter how you put in in?

from what iv been told the actuator rod should be contacting the screw if you look you will see what i mean. and mine wasnt at one point and once adjusted i went back to full boost..

What i used to do is back the adjustment screw out until you can feel the bypass valve bind a little in the port .... then screw it back in till there isn't any bind at all.....then test it . I marked the screw so i knew exactly where it was before i moved it ....just incase .
