AEM intake install 2.0

Hey guys, i just ordered an aem intake from cobaltperformaceparts.com , i was wondering if theres any special tools i should pick up to make the install go smoothly. any tips or advise?

oh also anyone think i should get a hydroshield?

Simple tools garage should be ok. Nothing to hard to deal with really. Hardest part is getting the inner fender wall out. Just time consuming really. I definitly recomend a hydro shield of some sort, just to be safe. The K&N dry charger shield is very nice, i have it and love it on my K&N CAI. Plus its cheap to boot. Check it out on the K&N's website. Good luck!

worst part = removing splash shield.... and thats only taking out a few screws

yeah splash guard is a bitch. but its just screws. time consuming, not hard.

Well i got in on today, Sounds dyno-mite!!! really good and unique sounding car now with the gmpp exhaust. All in all the install wasn't bad at all probably took me two hours, from start to test drive!

On the way out to cruise some more, love the sound
