injen is more worth it. the aem is a waste of money all u get is a little piece of pipe to replace the air box. injen also sends this rubber piece now to stop the rubbing

Zzp's 3inch intake is the way to go!!! Aem is a frigging joke. And the injen has a rub issue can be fixed my taking a clamp and crushing the support behind the head light bout 1/2 in. But I would say zzp other wise. Other wise the injen if your only want to do aem or that go with the injen. Pm me and I'll tell you what to do to fix the rub issue before you instal it's really simple I did it when I had mine

I did a flow test on 3 different intake filters the Injen, Spectere, and Fujita. Spectere out flowed Injen by 45 cfm and fujita out flowed Injen by almost 100 cfm so zzp with fujita filter

K&N drop in filter. If you want a loud whine, then any aftermarket intake would do. Even the e-bay intake.

I have an Injen I would like to get rid of if I could. I live in Canada though. I would like to get a 3" one rather than the 2.75" Injen. Not to mention mine busted a hole through the piping that I had to fix.

and what do you think a 3" intake is going to provide you that a 2.75" isn't?

well i ended up having to order the aem on ebay cause im an idiot & dont know how to work ebay lol. i accidentally put in an offer & it got accepted. but i think its just like the injen. its not SUPPOSED to be the short ram. and if it is...im DEF gonna send it back cause what is the point of spending 180 on a little piece of piping. because i was under the impression it looked like this(this is the pic from the ad)...

but keep the input comin please cause i have a feeling i will just be exchanging it for an injen from them. its the company called ultra rev.

Same here. No intake fits the 07' SS/SC's perfectly, and I was sick of rubbing issues with all the other intakes i've tried. I love my AEM intake. For those who say it is just an expensive air box mod are wrong. The AEM pipe is positioned dif. than the factory air box piping, and is a def improvement. I noticed a nice bump in power when i went from my air box mod to the AEM intake. This thread will just turn into a pissing match though, because there are so many nut hugger injen intake owners that think their intake is superior. All intakes for the lsj pretty much do the same thing. They will net you 8-10 more horsepower, and will increase the sound of the supercharger. Choosing the best intake is all done by opinion and your pocket book.

I have Injen and my buddy has Injen. They work great an we love em. Another friend had an AEM typhoon intake and it looked much smaller (pipe diameter) than our Injen but it could have been an optical illusion. Ours screamed way louder than his also.

btw telford aint far from me. i work outta quakertown. install is simple, just take out the headlight and head light bracket and everything is right there to work on.

I have injen. I like it, looks good, rubbing was stopped with a tiny piece of rubber hose. No big deal. If I had to buy one again. I would go with ottp or zzp. Nothing wrong with injen. I just like how the latter two support the community.
