air box mod didnt work?

alright so i have a problem. i just did the airbox mod with the aem dry flow filter. I did not remove the airbox, just took my stock one out, and installed the other one (just slid on with some force) then drilled the hole and tightened the clamp. I left the air box bottom off, and secured with a piece of plastic and some strip ties. i took it out for a test drive and couldnt hear my supercharger at all..i did just get a borla xr-1 muffler installed which is pretty loud but i thought i would be able to hear my supercharger. is there a step i missed?

Is your filter look like the stocker? If so get one the filter that goes on an cai. Like an apc or spectra

exhaust is probably drowning the noise out.... did you try with the window down?

definitely should consider dropping the pulley size or putting a silencer in your muffler if you want to hear it better

I'm stage 2 with GMPP touring and it's sometimes hard to hear with my airbox mod
