Air Box Mod Question

Maybe I'm an idiot. If so, I apologize.

But how do you secure the k&n drop in filter (E-0777) when doing this mod?

It was jimmy but I just left the bottom lid off, then ran zip ties through the screw holes where the cover bolted to the airbox in an X pattern across the filter and it worked perfectly.

I just used a dremel on the bottom half of my air box and cut holes out then cleaned all debris. Then put in k&n drop in with zzp upgraded intake tube.
