2007 Cobalt SC what location on Exaust should it be mounted i have heard too many things Such as certain distance from exaust tip. And so far down from the cat BLAH BLAH BLAH Please Help.

 

wideband or narrowband?

It needs to be before the cat. Thats really about it. 18" from the head is what most people say.

There is absolutely no reason to make 3 different threads.

 

if ur using a wideband the sensor needs to be in the downpipe before the catylatic converter. do not mount the sensor upside down either due to deposits from the engine will not burn off... before u drill the hole and weld it in MARK the spot with the down pipe ON the car.. iv found on my car and a frreinds lsj welding the bung on a angle facing the drivers side is the best fitment..
