airbox mod to the next level

ok so i wanted to know what would happen if you took you airbox out and just attached a filter i done this in an old car that i had and it worked like way better.................. what would be the problems of the sensors unconnected and so forth.

it's already been done just take off the bottom and drop in a K&N filter. you cant put the filter anywhere else do to the airflow sensor.

im talking about removing the airbox altogether......... thefore leaving the sensor connected to nothing

hhmmmmm..... it would run with out the maf or at least not properly. computer needs that MAF to determine how much gas to be injecting by the input from it.

how does reseting the pcm work ?
leave car running and disconnect the neg or turn off the car
and does it make a difference if i pull the positive one

when i was dynoing my car at my school we unhooked the intake hose and put a cone filter right on the end so that i was not using the maf and i got less hp
