Almost done installing, last Q

My car is currently at my parents house because my Dad's garage rocks. I have everything installed for my stage II except the serpintine belt. Is there is easy way to do this. I'm be doing that last step tomarrow after work. Would it be easier to take the plastic moldings off from under the car and start from there?

you dont have to remove the wheel and the lower plastic moldings but it would make it easier. a serpentine belt routing tool helps. but its not bad to fish it in there. it can be done with some patience and a long screw driver to get the belt over the crank the worst part is really the tensioner. trying to push down and apply enough pressure to rock it back without the wrench slipping off is quite a pain(well its a pain when there is not already tension on it the belt comes off easy this way but its not as easy to re install). if all else fails you can remove the bolts from the s/c and put the belt around the s/c pulley and very carefully push the back of the s/c down until you can bolt it in. i personally am not to fond of that method but it does work.

That thing was a bitch to get on. I think I spent about 30-40 minutes trying to get it on again. I started with the underdrive pulley and worked from there.

I'd take the wheel off because if you don't line it up correctly on those lower pulleys it'll shred it (I know). But it's pretty much cake from there...and I second that about getting another hand to help.

Thank alot guys and girls. I'll take the wheel off and see if that helps tomarrow. Just thought it would be a good idea to ask here so I can be prepared for it. Thanks again. My Dad and I will be doing the finishing touches.
