am i retarded or can catbacks made for the lsj be put on the lnf? a couple websites ive seen say for example "corsa catback" for 05 to the 10 cobalt...?

 

no they cant, different flanges

 

LSJ flange is a 2 bolt flange, same as L61 and LE5. LNF is a 3 bolt. Unsure what the LAP flange is, never seen one.

 

LSJ is 2 bolt flange
LNF is 3 bolt flange

 

thats wat i thought? so websites are just retarded. im contemplating trading in my sc ss for a tc ss and im looking at what exhaust options they have. do you or anyone else have an easy way of helpin me out. like, which ones sound the best so i can avoid doing ALOT of research.. just to give me ideas. and i also wanna know if there r any i should stay away from

 

if you cut the flange and reweld you can fit any exhaust. The bends are all the same. Except downpipes for autos.

 

LAP is also 2 bolt.

 

Just go to YT and search them.. it'll take like 10 minutes to find your favorite

 

just do a quick search of the lnf section, or look on youtube. IMO for the most part all LNFs sound fairly similar, just with different degrees of loudness.

 

you want an LSJ exhaust or LNF?

 

haha i have been but im sure there are alot that there arent even videos for. i pretty much only see the turbo xs exhaust and Hahn. i like the hahn so far but ya..

ya thats something ive noticed. im kinda bummed. the lnf's sound... boring. no throat to the sounds unless you go catless but i wanna pass emissions ha.

 

high flow cat + muffler delete sounds bad ass

 

all that I've seen that say 05-10 add "base" or "2.2 L" so they may not be for either the LSJ or LNF

 

my friend has that exhaust on his tc balt and i like it its just so quiet... i love my exhaust. its so loud and on down shifts its so gargly and i love it. from what i can see the lnf sounds eh compared. itd be a decent sized price to pay if i traded it in

wow ya that does sound really good i just watched it =] not to bad but mine is still better ha.. i think id be able to live with that tho. and es he does have the muffler delete on his but it sure as hell doesnt sound like that one

 

hah no I meant that maybe they're for base cobalts and they forgot to add that on the site.
