Zzp cams S2 + m62

My current mod list is in my sig. In addition to it,
I have on hand:
1.Bs delete kit
2. #78 supertech valve springs kit
3.arp studs + oem head gasket

And euthanisia will be porting my head .
So with all this im pretty much setting my car up for my next blower (tvs or mp90) at the end of the year, hopefully. My question is, will zzp s2 cams be benificial with my set up on the m62?

As stated on ZZPs website:

-The Stage 2 cams are the next step, they will raise your powerband about 700-1000rpm, they will make peak power around 7500-7800rpm! They will require neutral balance shafts.

I'm not sure what the M62 spins at, but if you plan on revving to 7800, I would look into what pulley size will let the M62 rev that high with the engine. That way you're not just be blowing hot air or exceeding it's max mechanical rpm.

its not so much about exceedingf the max rpm limit as sustaining it there if you keep it and hold it there damge will happen but peaking it wont

M62 - 3" pulley = 16,900 rpm, 3.1" = 16,300 rpm if spun to 7800 rpm.

Your looking at roughly 310-340whp depending on how hard you wanna push it.

A tvs or mp90 would put you at 400, if that's what your looking for.

Look at it this way

How do you get the m62 to produce 10 psi or less.

Does anyone have any dyno comparison of the ZZP cams?

Stock vs Stage 1?

Stage 1 vs Stage 2?

I see a lot of people buying cams using the ricer estimates provide by ZZP.

In my case I would have to watch that closely. Being I plan on autocrossing, I'm sure there will be many instances where I will want to maintain a high rpm instead of shifting. I'll probably be running a 3" at minimum.
