Any 2006 Supercharged SS ?

The speed shop I know got a 2006 SS / SC dynoed on a Mustang dyno and got an average of 20 WHP and 10 WTQ more than the 2005 SS / SC.

Anyone got a 2006 dynoed ?

I am wondering if GM already included a reflash on the 2006 ?

Thanks ! Have a nice day !

I have to agree that my 06 has something crazy going on under the hood. I have never been in an 05 so I cant say for sure if its faster. I need to get mine dynod, but there is WAY more than 205 to the wheels. Eveyone that gets a pull in it agrees and I have had some hot rod coinessuers in that front seat with 25 years + exp in race engines. I have heard the same rumor about the 06's being way faster. I only believe it cause I own one though

Until someone dyno's one and post's a dyno sheet it doesn't mean there is anything different.

06 air filter isn't the same than the 05, maybe the PCM calibration too.

I Dyno'd my 06 yesterday and got 213.0 Hp and 187.4 Ft/Lbs. I don't think there is much of a difference between the two years.

Actually I've always heard the opposite- Dynojets read high, Mustang dynos read low. It's like a scale, though- one measurement is worthless really- they are meant as a tuning tool and for any worthwhile work you just make sure you run it on the same dyno every time under conditions as similar as possible. A one-time readout is just a baseline. I weigh 210 on my doctor's scale 215 on the one at home, but both agree that I have lost about 25 lbs, they just disagree on the specifics- catch my drift?

indeed, ive never really paid attention to it, just as long as they are calibrated right i dont care, im using it as a baseline anyways...lol

And to get a true reading on whether or not the two make the same hp, you'd have to dyno a 2005 and 2006 back to back on the exact same dyno machine. That way all conditions and settings are equal.

It's FAST06SS

It doesn't matter whether it's 2 3 or 4th gear! What matters is that you use the same gear and same dyno when testing parts and how much they help. I've seen low dyno number cars run great numbers in the 1/4 while as well as the opposite

Stock, i went 230hp in 3rd gear on a dynojet.

Well we had dyno day recently.

Merc had an 05 with intake (K&N)

I have an 06 with just a 2.5 magnaflow exaust

my brother had an 04 ION Redline with CAI and 3.0 exaust with no res.

I had a higher dyno then both of them, so I almost think this to be true.

Merc had 230 on 4th gear and 240 on 3rd.

cvenom had 241 and 246

I had 249 and 250.

I seem to be pushing a few more ponies then both of them stock. An intake is usually good for 10+ HP, where an exaust is 6-8...

Theres a thread arround here with the dyno graphs to for nay sayers, check em out.
