Question Anybody running a 2.85" pulley w/out rflash ans injectors??

Just wondering 'cause I was told this could harm the engine. I have the 2.85" but I'm reluctant to put it on without a PCM reflash or bigger injectors.

With a 2.8, it would be in your best intrest to get bigger injectors, and a tune/reflash.

ang, all in due time, when yer car is tuned either with the stage 1 kit or hp, youl love it, the boost almost instantaniously hits 100 kpa and starts to build from there eventually hitting 120ish kpa, tis sweet!
but ya with yer stock setup i wouldnt chance it.

BE VERY CAREFULL!!!!

a 2.9 dam near or does max the stock fuel system at times in the rev range.

and even tho a 2.85 isnt that much smaller i would still say that its in your best intrests to get the car staged or tuned with some 42 or 60lbs injecters.

TIMMO-I'm runin a 2.7 soon to jump to a 2.5

Your best bet is to get a tune for larger injectors first...you'd be running the risk of going lean...and that's not something I'd personally be willing to risk.

Well with running a smaller pulley and stock injectors u risk detonation, b/c your forcing to much air into the motor and not enough gizas, so u better watch out its quite possible that you could blow your motor like my friend did

with a 3.0 your fine on the fuel system. close to the limit but ok none the less.
