Well how bad is 21.5 average MPG on my car (stage 2, intake & exhaust) I drive it pretty hard also. I dont think its worth puttin the money out for a tune just to fix that is it?

Oh I am not overly worried about it.

I understand that the CPU is pulling fuel to run correctly.

Little engine light is just giving me a heads up.

Unless you are literally flooring it all the time.

You should be about 28MPG average 50/50 hwy/city. You are loosing 7 miles for every gallon. You are using 25% more fuel than you should be.

All in all it comes down to the $4 a gallon gas I don't want to be wasting. LOL. But I love my car so I can't drive it like a grandma.

It is your driving....you wouldn't dump that much fuel.

Also it is chilly out still...which gas mileage tends to go down...doesn't make sense to me though...

GM stage 2 tune is crap! At least thats what I have heard! I am running in open loop and have the same mileage! I have been on mine hard too! Before going to open loop I was averaging 28MPG all else being equal.

do you guys think this could be caused by a bad primary o2 or an exhaust leak?

Yes and yes.

Methinks the leak would have to be right off the exhaust ports though

I don't think you'd ruin an o2 sensor unless your LTFTs were like pulling or adding A TON of fuel

Just stick your finger in the exhaust tip and rub it around, pull it out and if its black the lean code means nothing.
