I should be GM stage 3 (with honed manifold and catback) by the end of spring. Big emphasis on 'should'. Unfortunately there is no dyno around here so the only numbers i will be able to post is GTech and eventually a real quartermile run when our strip reopens.

I may opt to not get the PCM though and just get the pulley and dual pass. I don't plan on increasing my rev limit, using 100 octane, or spraying anytime soon.

except for the HOM with the cruise control switch.. that is pretty damn cool... tune on the fly. but you could always just reflash with HP anyway

if this setup ran something like a 2.7 or 2.8 inch pulley it would be worth getting but theres only so much power you can make with a 3 inch pulley, race gas or not

Didn't the time attack cobalt make upwards of 283hp without spray using a 2.99 pulley and just bolt ons?

Its possible, but pulley swapping is so easy with an aftermarket hub that most people just do that and forget about the 2.99.

The time attack cobalt was also not street legal and had a built motor even if it did make 283, you can do the same and more without nitrous or race gas with a whipple

Are you sure it had built internals? I thought it was suppose to be the "bolt-on wonder". If it only had 283 pre-spray with built internals, i would be extremely disapointed.

I guess exhaust could of had alot to do with it. They probably ran straight pipes right out of the header and had professional engineers tune it.

Also, not trying to be a jerk , but there is no whipple for the cobalt. And actually, there is not even a blower swap available! I want to know where the crap tag is at!!!

I sure hope so, i hate it when a company releases pics of an amazing product but then just disapears off the radar for 2 months.

By the time tags blower swap is out, i will have so much money tied up into my stock blower, that i cant justify replacing it!
