I was driving down the road and the CEL came on and i was 2 miles away from the dealer so i pulled in there and he hooked it up and and said it was a lean code and there is a service adviser about it and it said check the dipstick and sure enough it was pushed out about a half an inch to me that sounds like blow by but he pushed dipstick back in there and reset it and it went off and drove it and it never came back on I have 4300 miles on it.

 

Un-sealing the crankcase in any way is creating a vacuum leak.

Never seen it happen before but I've seen some weird crap in my day.

 

I just picked my SS/SC from the dealer for the same thing. The service told me the supercharger was causing the stock airfilter pleats to compress and this lead to a lean mixture. They replaced the airfilter element with a more free flowing element. I was told that a tech service bulletin (?) was out for this problem. The replacement filter was free of charge. I just had to let the service guy dog the crap out of my car while they should have been fixing it.

 

found out what could be the prob i called a froend that works for cadillac and he looking up my car and said there is a new service bulletin about the PCV valve but its called something else that could be blocked off or not sized properly so i guess ill take it in again.
