I always keep mine filled 1/4 above the fill line, and at times I can see little bubbles in the coolant in the neck when the car is shut off. That right there tells me that there is air in the system.
I have read on here where lots of people experience a constant stream of coolant coming from the bleeder on top of the heat exchanger to the bleeder end of the tank. This isn't correct, and I am guessing that this is becuase they are not using the correct orifice or do not have it installed correctly. Do any of you all experience this? If not where do you have the .040 orifice placed at in the system?
