www.ricermath.com/injection.htm

no actual number results and it's not installed right now. i am making plans that when i get a 2.85 pulley put on i am going to put a smaller tensioner(if needed) on and that should give me enough play to put like a 1/2" - 3/4" plate between the blower and engine so i can run the injector on the output side of the blower. this will also allow me to run an alky mix instead of just water.

But the big question is, are you going to still use it after you get a CIA?

why would i not? running alky/water with or without a cai is going to make more power.

Yeah but it was easy to put a hole in the plastic intake we come with OEM. Would you be willing to risk $250-$350 to drill a hole in your CIA for water injection?

Water injection cools down the intake air temps, thus makes more power. The water turns into the steam and burnes up in the combustion chamber absorbing heat.

Ive seen on most setups guys were using one injector after the blower and one injector after the intercooler. But since we are running an air to water intercooler should we just need one after the blower?

i'm getting an adapter plate to fit it between the blower and motor, i'm not tapping into a $250 intake. besides if i go through the intake tube i will be stuck with running straight water, (so i don't f'up the blower blades) and i want to run alky mix

there's alot of options for this stuff. some people run different size nozzles in different places and that's considered a 2 stage kit. each nozzle is set to kick in at different rpm's and such. other people will run straight water before the blower and then straight alky in the second nozzle on the other side of the blower. i'm just trying to keep it simple

there is a reason they use a boost switch , that way you dont push the spray into the blower unless you need it

the j @ w body guys have been doing it for a long time , with no problems

besides you need to cool the s/c as well as the air , not just the air

not to mention you already have the intercooler to cool the air
