ARP Studs

Hey i was wondering if anyone knows the correct way of installing ARP studs i recently had a blown headgasket and im ordering some of those studs if anyone who has done it could give me some pointers that would be great

hand tighten the studs into the block and put the head gasket on then the head and then torque the nuts in the right sequence

so when i hand tighten then i dont need to tighten them anymore? once there snug from hand tightening there good?

if the studs do not install by jand then you need to get a thread chaser and clean the threads up and clean out the bolt holes realy well once the holes are cleaned out apply a light couat of arp lube to the stud screw them in until they bottom out then unscrew them about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn do not torque the head with the stud bottomed out in the block if you do you can pull the threads out of the block

so leave some space at the bottom of the block you saying thats why you said unscrew about a quarter turn once there bottomed out?
