Autometer Boost Gauge T Fitting Is Junk
Wasn't sure where else to put this. I have a mechanical Autometer boost gauge and ever since I've had it the rubber fitting that connects to the T off the vaccum line and to your boost gauge line lasts a few months then delaminates and falls apart at the top where the line goes in. I've replaced a few of them already. I've made sure the line doesn't pull on the fitting or anything. Has anyone else had this issue? Any other suggestions other than always replacing it?
i have the same gauge and same problem. i didnt know where to get one right away so i just wrapped the rubber fitting really tight in electrcal tape and havent had problems for a few months but id like to know a better solution
I had it tear on me and didn't realize it till it was absolutely destroyed. So I picked up a vacuum line cap and just punched a hole in the middle, fed the line through, then seam sealed all around the line and cap so it will never leak.

dude i told you thats what caused me to lose my motor at the track. The gromet blew off under boost pressure and my meth never kicked in as a result. I had the right mind to call autometer and bitch sell me a 30psi gauge and give me a gromet that cant handle 24psi bullshit !!!
