its alot shorter...i was talking about this same subject on another thread...i have a friend jeff who races his cobalts for autox, he said when they put in the b&m sts in, he said there wasnt much of a diff, so i went in the car and checked it out...i mean its shorter but only by like 15% at most, the hurst is giving you 28% less throw between gears.

All the info on the B&M says it is 30% shorter.

I think we need to bring up the fact that my summit order for the Hurst just got refunded so i'm not even sure these will be out. Or is someone carrying them currently? Anyone know?

Is it true that you have to pull up the reverse lock-out to go into 5th with the b&m?

Uhh..not if youy install it properly. And as i said before, i LOVE my B&M. The throws are ALOT shorter, and smoother. Another thing is it's a helluva lot easier to powershift with it.

I'm going to wait for the Hurst to come out. Then do the research to see what's better. VictoryRed06, how did your friend get one already? By the sound of what you are saying, I will go with the Hurst, however, I still need to hear it from a few more people first.
