The BM does give you a little louder exhaust note too, but mine is partially due to having a ZZP DP too.

Has to sound better (even if it's louder) than my current setup though. This is on a 2.2L NA with mods listed in sig. Currently have the Pacesetter header and Exhaust Depot catless DP. Now have the Bad Mab header and ZZP 2.5" catted DP. Running a stock LSJ cat-back at the moment. Really want to get a Magnaflow, Corsa Touring, or GMPP Touring.

All you need to do is remove the stock exhaust manifold.

The header will work with the stock downpipe & catback.

For best results you should install a high flow downpipe & catback though.

Sorry I'm new to this tuning stuff. So im on ZZP website looking to buy dp but there are options OffRoad- No O2 bung, With O2 bung, high flow cat. Not sure which options to pick for the 2.5" dp and not sure for zzp cat-back exhaust also.

Off road downpipe means it does not have a cat.

- Select highflow cat.
- You only need the O2 bung if you plan on installing a wideband.

As for the cat back you would want a 2.5" catback to match up with the 2.5" downpipe.

ZZP sells a 2.5" catback.

What model Cobalt do you have?

has anyone's badmab header had f'd up flanges over time? i've been through 2 of them and the header/downpipe flange seems to bend due to heat and then i get an exhaust leak. might just get a different header...

Which options should i pick for the 2.5" zzp cat-back? No downpipe flange( weld-in), bolts up to 2.5" downpipe flange, and bolts up to 3.0" downpipe flange

Nope.

I've had mine on my car for over a year w/o any problems.

Infact, it still looks brand new.
