bad supercharger?

I recently had a new engine put in, i noticed recently there was small amounts of oil,on the side of the engine(timing chain side),and a light film on top of the motor.having just a put a new motor in i kinda didnt investigate to much, recently though there has been this very high pitched squealing noise coming from the front, sounds like the supercharger.i was thinking maybe the seal went bad and sprayed small amounts of oil on that side of the motor, and ran out of oil, causing the bearings to squeal extremely loud? not sure though, was hoping for an opinion, only thing that doesnt make sense is that if the seal is leaking there is absolutly no oil on the supercharger itself. Thanks guys.
