Is warranty a concern for you? If so:
Stage 2, GMPP Catback exhaust, Ingalls, intake if you want to go that route
Take a look at my numbers/dyno sheet and the dyno video I have linked in my sig. to get an idea of where my mod list put me, then price it out. Do the same with kenhebe's.

Yeah the GMPP manifold is good for 6hp and 5 tq I hear, and it will keep your low end torque real nice

a little over $1850 will get you GMPP stage2(installed),GMPP manifold, GMPP performance cat-back and exhaust tip(not installed), intercooler end plate and surge tank, GMPP 2.9 pulley, and Intense-Racing suspension pkg(polyurethane Control Arm Bushings/Tranny mount inserts) These mods would make your Cobalt about the best it could be while still under warranty I'm guessing you would be around 260-265whp

are these #'s what you get with a stock 'balt? If so a staged Cobalt should yield slightly higher gains...

There is no GMPP 2.9 pulley, the stage 3 pulley is a 3.0" pulley

and yes, I do think that those numbers are on a stock balt, If I get that manifold I will do before and after dynos for sure

No the Stage 2 is a 3.0" pulley(77.9mm) why would gm include the same pulley in stage 3 as in stage 2 when you need stage2 in order to install stage3? stage 3 pulley is 2.9"(76mm) check crate engine depot link>>>

stage 2 pulley listed in kit description

stage 3 pulley

Stage 3 is 76mm which is ~2.99"(http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...in&btnG=Search)
Stage 2 is 77.9mm which is ~3.06 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...in&btnG=Search)

My bad on the stage 2, I guess I was rounding a bit too much.
