Battery..

Im gonna unplug the battery to see if my old CEL codes erase but i forgot wich one it is, the negative or positive?
newb question i know lol

Unplugging the negative for a few minutes usually does it for mine.

Just a note...get in the habit of unhooking the negative terminal of a battery. This prevents you from shorting it out if your wrench or socket makes contact with something to ground when unhooking the positive side, and while you won't get electrocuted on a 12v system, if you are wearing a ring or something like that you do run the risk of a pretty nice burn!!

i hope your not unhooking it to clear the cel because your getting a inspection sticker for the car.

It's a seris circut, either will work. Just if you do the positive be careful your tool doesnt short to the frame in the process.
