Before you buy NGK BKR7EIX ! Read This !
After going back and forth trying to figure out what plugs to buy I finally got set on NGK Iridiums and ordered the BKR7EIX.
Well after correctly gapping them to .040 I noticed how much of an angle the ground strap now had.
At the out of the box gap of .032 the electrode was oriented about .020 in from the end, at .040 it was in about .008.
I couldn't install a plug that looked like this.
So I called NGK and was informed that the BKR7EIX was available in a few gap settings, the regular one was @ .032 the BKR7EIX-11 was @ .044 and was also available as larger as .060
The 11 stands for 1.10mm like the stock plugs 10 stands for 1.04, these are 100% easier to gap and look 300% better when set at .040 too!
Just thought I would pass this along.
