damn looks like from the pic you lost an entire rib. Take your belt, passenger wheel and passenger splash gaurd out to get access to the pulleys in question. try feeling around for any burrs or irregularities. How many miles on the belt??

perhaps when you changed pulleys the pulley is not on perfectly straight, causing stress to the inside portion of the belt...? try taking your belt off and flipping it over then reinstalling and see if it either gets worse on that same rib, or if it develops the condition in the same spot on the other side. That will take a while to determine of course, but your belt will be fine. 1 out of 6 ribs missing isn't gonna be a big deal.

either the belt is defective, or a pulley (most likely for the SC) is crooked. idle the car and carefully watch everyy pulley spin, check for any runout.

the reason people are having problems with the belts is because the dumb ******* are not aligning them properly during the install.
