belt size?take away S/C

Just wondering, if I were to remove my supercharger, would the belt on the 2.2 or 2.4 liter work on my 2.0? Anybody know?

Why would you want to do that???

And you would have to gut out the inside of the S/C to make it work i think.

i don't believe it would since the 2.0 and 2.2/2.4 have different tensioners, but if those were replaced then it would be the same

I don't think the car would rut well at all minus the SC. The ECU has been made to control it and the engine together as well as the bypass valve etc..

If you remove the SC and rebuild the intake, you will still have several nasty CEL Problems..

I think the plan was to get everything plumbed up correctly but still, the engine would not really function...
