Obviously you put on the smaller belt, right?

Did you get a new (aftermarket) tensioner, or did you just get a New OEM one?

Are you sure its belt slippage?

Try to explain more what your doing... your not being very clear...

If the belt tensioner is in your toolbox... how can it work?

I bought my car used, and i did not know that the zzp tensioner was on, so when i ported my SC the tensioner was missing the notch for the 15mm wrench, and i was all wtf? so i took off sc and loosened the tension on it to get it off, but getting it back on was a no go. So i bought the stock tensioner and sure enough peice of cake with the proper leverage. I may just dremel a notch in the zzp one to get it on, i think im getting belt slip as well

You can try belt dressing they sell it in walmart for like 2 bucks. Shouldn't slip with a 2.8 unless you fucked the tensioner which you may have done?!?

I have a 45k mile stock belt with an oversized tensioner on a 2.8. No belt slip whatsoever.
