belt squeak after pulley install
belt squeak after pulley install
So I just put my 2.8 on (with my new injectors, pcm, etc), and everything went awesome, took it to chevy had them to the crank relearn and it ran great. Then about 2 hours later, i noticed a quite chirping noise that gradually got louder. By the time I got home it was pretty loud and sounded like it was coming from the belt tensioner. When we did the pulley swap my buddy accidently loosed the 1/2 bolt at the bottom. I quickly tightened it and went about finishing the pulley swap. Is it possible it could have been damaged? any ideas, it's driving me insane.
Also, on a side note, anyone had problems with OTTP's new H/E leaking from the little drain? Mine is always a little wet and I'm also refilling the coolant resivoir.

belt misalinged probably on the lower pulleys out one rib = squeal. Re-align. Drain overtightened= leak. Buddy accidently loosed a 1/2 bolt on a metric fastener car= buddy not a buddy see previous issues above lol
