Belt Squeel???

I'm having alot of belt squeel, very quiet at idle and louder past 2500rpm. It started when I put my 2.6" pulley on. I have the ZZP adjustable tensioner and at first I had it at the setting they recommended but it was still sqeeling so I put it on the tightest setting. Now its squeeling a little less but still enough to hear it over my exhaust. What do you guys think its from?

Loose belt is always what I associate that kind of noise with. If you put a bigger pulley on, does it go away?

or check to make sure that the belt is on all of the pullies. The pulley that the belt usually doesn't sit on all the way is the A/C compressor. That is the most common reason for the squeaking after a pulley swap. Good Luck!

Check and make sure the belt is sitting correctly. If the belt sits on all ribs correctly then get a new belt, don't know why this is so but it worked for me.

Alright I'll order it today. The odlsmobile is good, We need to do the brakes before we can drive it much. Hopefully that'll be this week and we'll also rebuild the carb this week.
