Storing Cobalt Ss/sc For Winter

I will be putting the beast away for the winter in the next couple of weeks. The car only has 3500 km on it. Just wondering if anyone has any helpful info on storing vehicles for the winter months, the car will be kept in a garage that will be for the most part heated. The car hasnt had its first oil change yet, wondering if i should bring it in and get it done before i put it away. Anything else i should do besides disconnecting the battery terminal and usual stuff like that. I want to make sure everything is done properly when it is put away for 4-5 months.

thanks guys

I would personally put the battery inside unless you can make sure that the battery will not be exposed to freezing temps. I have stored by show truck every winter for the past 7 years and in the first winter, I trashed a new battery by letting it freeze. I would also reccommend jack stands unless you will be rolling it out every few weeks to gaurd against flat spots on the tires. Put some Stabil in the gas tank to provent water from accumulating. As far as the oil, you can change it in the spring when you get it back out.
