Which is best for cooling?

I am looking to do some some sort of cooling mods soon. One option being the ZZP S3 heat exchanger plus option B, or the GM dual pass kit and option B. Will one of these provide a significant difference over the other when it comes to cooling performance, IAT drop rate, and overall steady IAT cruising temperatures?

I Vote ZZP Pheonalic Spacer! Personally, I'm running the OTTP Stg1 H/E along with the Dual Pass and the Spacer. Not sure what gave me the most drop in IATs since I did the Pheonalic Spacer at the same time as my dual pass ( Since you have to take the intake manifold out to do both mods I did them together )

I saw much faster recovery times once I installed my GMR dual pass endplate.

This was after already having a secondary heat exchanger, and opt b for some time.

I have the zzp phenolic spacer, dual pass, flow through option B tank (stu mod), h/e, and i'm running distilled water only.

IAT1 and IAT2 are about 8-11* apart at all times, and recovery is very quick after a long pull.

cav my iats2 are rarely more than a few degrees above iat1s. on 4 consecutive 4th gear dyno pulls i was able to hit an iat over 100, 110 to be exact. it was at 110 at the exact end of the 4th pull and dropped back to 70 in 10-15 seconds after the pull ended. on street when i finish 3rd gear well past 100mph the iat2s are just starting to move above 10 over the iat1s. im going to add a griffin to the mix and eliminate the ac condenser for better airflow but not for any gains, just because i have the sickness.

Crazy.....

That almost makes the decision for me getting a single pass.

What kind of difference are you seeing between IAT 1 and 2, and are you just running the Griffin alone? I am not really 100% sold on them. I haven't really seen much data to back them up

I am thinking the dual pass and option b will probably be the best bet at the moment. Just curious, which heat exchanger were you using prior?

Couldn't give you numbers just my impression unfortunately. I bought the car with dual pass and option b already so it was a decent setup. City driving and autocross days in hot months did cause noticeable drops in power with the stock h/e, not even a hint of that with das griff yet. And euthanasia will be sending me my own single pass in about a week, things will only improve from here
