cx racing heat exchanger setup, i forget who sells it, but it comes with brackets, hoses, clamps, everything you need to hookup. I personally have the AEM meth kit and see no issues with it, however I won't have it completely installed until Monday. Then obviously the dual pass end plate with option b.

yea definitely get a meth kit...its cheaper than the h/e and you can see some power gains if you get tuned for it and it cools better than a h/e also...h/e's are only 60% efficient

plus you get a higher octane and eliminate knock with the meth kit as well as stabilizing detonation so your gettin a long engine life as well as cooling with the meth

AIS water/meth kit FTW

The CX Racing h/e and a dual pass endplate will suit your setup just fine. If you decide to do the h/e buy it off of ebay.... The brackets are practically made for the cobalt and all the other materials can easily be had at your closest autozone. All you need other than
the h/e itself is about 5 feet of 3/4 inch heater hose, four 3/4inch hose clamps, some self-tapping screws, extra coolant, some beer and a buddy. About 10$ total (not including the beer)

The cx h/e off of ebay is 150 bucks plus shipping. My iat2's went from around 150 to 115-120 with just the h/e. Im running a 2.9 with all the necessary supporting mods.

Meth is the best cooling mod however I just dont have an easy way to get tuned.

a cheap easy one is a coolant resevoir, i just did this last weekend. Works well top end seems to have picked up some ponies by the butt dyno and the engine doesnt feel heat soaked as quickly.

You will see the benefits of the cooling and high octane properties of the meth will prevent knock and timing being pulled, however the hp gain will be offset by the fact that you will be in the 9's a/f wise on the stage 2 tune. I was off my widebands scale rich wise when I had the stage 2 and the meth hooked up.

I currently run a 11.4 a/f with my 5gph nozzle and a 75/25 meth/water mix. a 50/50 mix leans me out to a 11.8-11.9 a/f. I am HP tuned now
