For a while now ive wanted stage 2 and now i got the money and im jus gonna do it...i want to know the best place to order a stage 2 , i saw one on ebay for 425, but not on there ne more :-/

I'm pretty sure www.crateenginedepot.com is the best place to get it. I am in a similar situation as you, and will keep an eye on this thread in case I'm wrong.

 

stage II is def worth the money right??

hell yea stage 2 is worth it, huge difference and you get some whine!

 

i managed to jump on it when i saw it on ebay. just got it installed the other day, huge difference. car picks up a LOT faster, boost builds up a lot faster too, definatly worth it. paid $300 for the install, which isn't too bad, but definatly pricey.

how much of a difference from stage 2? a lot more power? i also heard that third gear is the pulling gear with stage 2 is that true?

 

Both 2nd and 3rd gear will pull great with stage 2.

Stage 2 is said to boost HP from 205 to 241. However, I have seen alot of people dyno 215-220 stock so it is hard to say what gains each person will see. Every car is different but, S2 is a great gain over stock.

Note: I am waiting for my S2 to get to my house but I researched S2 alot and everyone who has it says its great!

You are going to want more from your car. Don't bother with Stage 2. Go into the LI Cobalts trhead in the regional forum and talk to us. We will get you hooked up with some goodies.
