Best and quietest 3" mufflers
Haha thanks. Are you the one who asked if I was catted or catless? At the time I had a high flow cat. I bashed out the cat a little while back because it was getting clogged and surprisingly enough it only made my car a little bit louder. Still no rasp. The only thing saving my ass is ZZPs resonator, no question.

Ok well after alot of trial and error over the past year i found the perfoect setup for me. here was all of my many setups. Good luck to amyone trying to make a modded lsj quiet!!
#1 gmpp high flow manifold, stock cat, gmpp sprt exhaust, this sounded good until the packing blew out and it dident flow very good
#2 ottp long tube, 3" zzp catback with magnaflow muffler and magnaflow res installed. This was way to loud from the start , bad drown in car, and turned stupid loud after 1000 miles
#3 ottp long tube, dynatech cat, 3" catback with magnaflow res, and 29" long flowmaster 50 series. sounded great at idle but stupid loud under load, very bad drone at idle in car, aslo sounded like total butt hole almost all the time
#4 ottp long tube, dynatech cat, 3" zzp catback with magnaflow res, 1 18" glass pack and 1 30" glass pack. Stupid loud all the time, sounds like a giant pissed off bee
#5 ottp long tube, dynatech cat, full stainless 3" pipe mandrel bent, 35" magnaflow res, walker quiet flow stainless 3" offset inlet, 3" center outlet, 32" length, oval muffler. This exhaust is very quiet. no drone at all, still sounds good under load and i felt no loss in power. At idle and cruising on the highway this setup is just a little louder than stock system but not by much its been on now for 1000 miles and it sounds the same as it did when i put it on.

Has anyone tried a loop muffler with a big res? Those loop or frequency isolating mufflers are used on muscle cars to eliminate drone and un necessary noise (rasp) maybe could work on a 4banger? There's a lot od options for exhaust.. I've not seen a res tip yet either lol..
