Best setup for factory Supercharger?

I was thinking about getting a TVS supercharger but all the upgrades that has to go along with it going to break pockets. I want to know what I need to max out the factory Supercharger HP and TQ numbers running 93 pump gas? I was given this list from ZZP far as the TVS upgrade goes.

Well what's the minimum for a TVS to be close to 300hp?

I am definitely going through what I say. I have a 14 GLI Autobahn that I spent 4k cash in performance mods on at one time. I just bought the Cobalt for 4k cash as well last week and will spend the money needed for upgrades to be faster than my GLI. So dead serious...

I would walk or ride the bus before I owned anything in Memphis. That rats nest brags when car jackings are less than 70 per month. Sell it and move. You do not know what you are missing in life and a fast car won't solve it there. Mr. GDS advise will get you away the fastest and cheapest and the rest of the stuff will get you a little further.

I stay in Suburb of Memphis. And car jackings are rare. Mostly murder here. I am a Shelby County Officer so simply don't directly deal with that issue. Car burglary yes jacking folks for rims and radios if it's in plain site. I already have a fast 14 GLI no car jacking and same for the cobalt.

no you don't need valve springs if 93 is your only option then keep it on a 2.9 pulley you can always mix a couple of gallons race fuel to up the octane

The complete GMPP Stage 3 setup with nitrous! You'll achieve 300+. Incidentally, I have most of the components I have not sold yet.

the gm stg3 kit is designed to be used with 42lb/hr injectors(way to small for a tvs) a 50hp dry shot and you will not achieve 300+ plus hp on the kit

I would at least do a option B mod. Everything else helps out but imo the option B mod is one of the most important mods for a supercharged lsj

Yes it most certainly will.

I saw a box stock GM Stage 3 50 shot dyno back in the day, and the car made 290whp and 305wtq.

With additional exhaust mods, that car would have exceeded 300whp on the GMS3 tune and nitrous w/ M62.

Hell, I made 299+whp with the GMS3 kit w/o nitrous, yes I had a ported head, cams, and H62, but to say the kit won't produce 300whp is just not true.

I wish I ended up installing the nitrous jumper wires and kit on my car to show what it really could have done.

OP, the best setup is all a matter of opinion....

There is the best setup for cheapest price, best setup for max power, best setup for safe useable power etc.

You need to decide exactly what you want, and go from there.

The setup I had was for all around efficiency and in my opinion, was one of the best ways to go.

Have to agree. I dyno'd at 273 with the 100 octane mode and was running snow tires at the time. The 100 octane mode coupled with the dry shot should net 300. I do have the dual pass, etc, etc. but no engine internal work done.

I will buy the TVS in February. Along with all supporting mods needed all at once. That's just how I do things. I just need the 300+ horsepower setup 93 Octane only! with a TVS. Without porting anything...

Methanol injection kits are not that hard to install. I would do that while you are under the hood because it is definitely worth it. I went from running 12 degrees ignition advance on 91 octane (that's all I can get besides race gas) and now I am running 24 degrees ignition advance with 1:1 mix methanol and distilled water with two 3-gph nozzles. Huge difference.
